Natural Beauty Recipes for Strengthening Nails

Long and strong nails are every women dream, but that is not so easy to achieve especially during winter when they quickly split and brake. Nails do not grow so quickly and it is necessary to treat them in a special way. By drinking enough water, around 2 liters a day, and by eating vegetables we are helping our body to get enough proteins. In this way we’ll strengthen our nails and our hair. 

There is a lot of ingredients in your kitchen that you may use to improve the look of your nails. Lemon is one of the best ingredients for nails whitening. Make a juice of half of a lemon and soak your nails in it for 10 minutes. Lemon is also very helpful in combination with honey. Keep the mask made of this combination on your nails for half an hour in order to prevent or treat cracked nails.

Mask for Faster Nail Growth

Add 10 drops of boiling water to half a teaspoon of red paprika. Mix it well and add oily hand cream. In order to apply the mask easier you can warm up the mixture (place bowl with the mask over to bowl with a heated water). This step is optional. Then apply the mask on your nails and let it absorb well (about 15 minutes).

Mask for Cracked Nails

Mix well one spoon of honey, one spoon of cocoa and one spoon of coconut oil. Rub your nails thoroughly with this mask and rinse your hands after 5-10 minutes. The ideal time to apply this mask is at night. Apply it before bedtime and wear gloves, leave it to stand on your nails all night.
