Boost your immune system naturally

Keeping your immune system strong is necessary for your body to gain resistance to various diseases, and therefore good health. Although there are more and more products for boosting immune system in our pharmacies, natural remedies are still the best and proven healthy way in this process.

Health is the greatest wealth. Therefore, it should be kept by eating healthy domestic food from grains such as: corn, soybeans, barley, rice, buckwheat, rye. You need to eat nuts such as: walnuts, hazelnuts, almonds, peanuts, and a variety of seeds; and other various fruits like: raspberries, strawberries, apples, blueberries and fresh homemade fruit juices. It is required to consume as much as possible dairy products such as: cheese, goat's milk, yogurt, sour cow's milk and whey. You need to eat less and more often, and drink at least 2 liters of water a day. Physical activity is necessary in order to maintain a healthy body, so it is recommended to take a walk, ride a bicycle or to do exercises.

I will present you two very easy to make homemade recipes that will satisfy not only the child's need for sweets, but also strengthen immune system of the whole family. These recipes are a real "jar of vitamins" so the choice is all yours.

The first recipe for strengthening the immune system of children and adults:

- 100 gr of raisins 
- 150 gr of walnuts
- 100 gr of almonds
- The peel of two lemons
- 100 gr of dried apricots
- 100 gr of dried plums
- 250-300 gr of honey
- If you have a chance - it is very good to add 100 gr pine nuts (they are great for strengthening immunity)

Grind in the mincer: raisins, walnuts, almonds, pine nuts and lemon peel. Add the juice of two lemons, which peel you have previously grinded, in the mixture and stir. Add prunes and dried apricots and stir again. Finally, add honey and stir again. Leave to stand in a dark place for 1-2 days. Refrigerate jar with vitamins.

For children older than 3 years - 1 teaspoon twice a day.
For adults: 1-2 tablespoons three times a day.

The second recipe:

50 gr cranberry
50 gr ginger
50 gr of cinnamon
1/2 kg of honey
1 lemon

Grind cranberry and ginger and mix it with cinnamon, lemon juice and honey. Stir well all the ingredients until the mixture gets unite. Fill in the jar and eat 1 teaspoon 2 times a day.
