Cinnamon is well known for his capability to increase the insulin action. Cinnamon is also used to lower the level of cholesterol and triglycerides. It is said that one spoon of cinnamon during the day may lower the amount of sugar in the blood.

Another recipe is Cinnamon Tea. Pour boiling water over the one-third of cinnamon stick and let it steep. After half an hour strain it and drink.
